He holds several university degrees and has a sound experience in various fields: Public Management and Finances, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Software Engineering, Sales and Marketing, Communication.

He started his career within the media company SBPP S.A (editor of the Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan magazines) in Brussels as Computer Science Director where he quickly became a key contributor to the company in different fields: sales and marketing, communication, production. He subsequently took up management positions within several prestigious companies and administrations, such as Gralex/InterBéton belonging to CBR & Holcim (cement, concrete, aggregates) and previously within the Prime Minister Services – Federal Services of scientific, technical, and cultural affairs. He was active in many fields (intellectual property, first HD television broadcast project via internet in 1998, press campaign) and managed, at the technical level, reference projects like the organization of the European Ministerial Counsel of the European Space Agency (ESA) in 1999. His professional experience in Belgium ended within The Cotton Group, a leading company operating in the textile industry.

From 2003 to 2005, he worked on several business projects: the buyout of the largest tour operator in Madagascar through a venture with BBL Travel - Carlson WagonLit Belgium (groupe Accor), a Master Franchise in Spain with a renowned European real estate company and a distribution company in the food industry in Costa Rica.

He founded the Lowcom Group in the Republic of Panama early 2006. Less than 12 months later, the group has two subsidiary companies: Lowcom Business & Investment (Investment Consulting, Mergers and Acquisitions) and Lowcom Panama Bienes Raices (real estate) with a total of 30 plus employees and 50 plus freelancers.

In October 2011, Strategy is founded. He becomes its President and General Manager.

Several of his articles were published by The Canadian Business Journal, De Tijd, Money Magazine, Panama Magazine, Business Without Borders, ….

Andres Weil

He holds a strong academic background from top international institutions: in 1999 he obtained his Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), and in 2006 his MBA with Finance specialization from HEC Paris.

He started his career in Banco Cuscatlán in 2000 (El Salvador’s second largest bank at the time) managing projects in administration, IT and operations. Key contributor to a companywide cost reduction initiative. Appointed Operations Manager in 2006, he participated in the operative merger of the bank with CITI and Banco Uno.

From 2007 he held a series of financial leadership positions. He joined Grupo Editorial Altamirano (publishing company owning the main newspaper in El Salvador, El Diario de Hoy, as Group CFO, where among his participations was the establishment of a production facility in Panama. From 2009 to 2013, as CFO of Banco G&T Continental El Salvador (part of Guatemalan G&T Continental Financial Group) he led the finance strategy solidly to consolidate the bank in the Salvadorian market.

He moved to Panama in 2013, to work for AES, leading the financial planning of seven energy plants (hydro, fuel and methane) and four distribution companies in Central America. Led the periodic impairment valuations under USGAAP and IFRS. In 2017, he takes temporarily the CFO role in a small Panamanian bank.

He is currently a finance consultant helping CEOs take informed financial decisions, organizing the finance function processes and assessing financial risks in their companies. He is also a representative of CIAL Dun & Bradstreet for the Republic of Panama.

He joins Strategy Latam in 2019 as Business Partner.

Edgardo Quintero

Edgardo Quintero completes his primary and secondary education in a prestigious Jesuit school in Panama. He obtains later a degree in Science, Literature and Philosophy from the University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) in Banking and Finance, finishing second of his class, with honors and the distinction “Summa Cum Laude Probatus”.

He begins his professional career in Bladex (Latin American Export Bank) where he occupies various positions over the following 14 years. He participates in special technology projects such as the implementation of new banking programs. He is also the Head of Credit for Central America and the Caribbean for two years.

He then works for twelve years for Popular Bank as Assistant Vice President of Operations, overseeing the operational branch and international business.

In 2011, he accepts a mission as Coordinator and Leader of Methods and Procedures for the implementation of the new banking program software that will be used by all State Panamanian banks.

In February 2012, he decides to join Strategy as Senior Advisor for financial and banking matters (until 2019).

He moves to Colombia in 2014 to cover this market. He also collaborates the same year with the bakery/restaurant chain Rico Más Pan and joined Global Partners Colombia the following year as Financial Planner. He then joined Protex Latin America (Concrete Additives) in 2019 as General Manager.
